Designed for young explorers and their families, this weekly program combines engaging read-alouds with interactive museum experiences that spark imagination and curiosity. Whether you’re a local family or visiting Newport for the day, Story Hour offers a fun and educational way to spend a morning at the museum. Space is limited, so be sure to plan ahead.

Ideal for children ages 2–8, each session includes:
~ 30 minutes of story time featuring maritime-themed and family-friendly books
~ 30 minutes of exploration and play throughout the museum’s interactive exhibits
