Join artists Agus Ismoyo and Nia Fliam for a compelling presentation on their innovative approach to traditional Indonesian batik—the art of creating layered patterns with wax and dyes. Drawing on more than four decades of artistic practice, they will share their lifelong devotion to batik, reflect on how their work has been shaped by the ancient Javanese text Suluk Ambatik, and highlight key works from their artistic journey.

A Meet and Greet after the talk will include a display featuring handmade batik artwork textiles, wearable art, and accessories created by the artists, offering guests the opportunity to view and speak directly with the artists.
